General
Q: Do I need to go to the Dmh Poker web site to play?
A: No - all you
need to do is run the software and it will automatically connect you to the
poker room. You do not have to connect via the web site except our casino and
live casino.

Q: Can I see what the game looks like before I buy in?
A: Just download and install our
software, register an account and play poker for free with virtual poker
credits that we will give you. No credit information is needed at this point.
You will then be able to log in and watch the action or play at a 'play money' table. These tables have all the features and
functionality of the 'real money' tables - the only difference is that you're
not playing for real money.

Q: How do I see what games and tables are available?
A: When the game lobby opens, you will
see the table list for the various types of poker. To see the table list for
each type, select the desired game type tab above the table list and the
relevant table list will be displayed, with the details of each table.

Q: How do I join a table from the Lobby?
A: Highlight the table that you wish
to open, either by single clicking on the table within the list or by using the
up and down arrow keys on your keyboard. Once the table you wish to open is
highlighted, double click the highlighted area or click the 'Go To Table' button below the table menu. The table window will
open.
To the top
Q: Can I sit down at an empty table?
A: Yes you can. You
then just need to wait until someone else joins you for the play to begin.
Generally once somebody sits down at an empty table, others soon follow. You
probably won't have to wait long to start playing.
To the top
Q: How does the wait list work when a table is full?
A: If the table you want to play at is
full, you can join the wait list from the lobby or from the table itself. To do
this, highlight the table in the table list and click the 'Waiting List' button
below the table list. A dialogue box will pop up, giving you the option of
joining the waiting list for that specific table only, or for all tables of the
same type. You will be added to the list and automatically notified when a seat
is available.
To the top
Q: How does the wait list work when a table is empty?
A: If no players are available to play
a selected game, select the minimum number of players you wish to play against,
in the waiting list dialogue box. When a game with enough players is
established, you will automatically be notified.

Q: What do Avg Pot and Plrs/Flop
mean in the table list?
A: Avg Pot
represents the rolling 30-hand average pot. This is the average pot size
calculated over the previous 30 hands. Plrs/Flop is
shown as a percentage representing the average number of players that are in
the hand for the Flop.

Q: How can I locate a player who may be playing at one of the
tables?
A: In the bottom right-hand corner of
the Lobby window, there is a search feature. Enter the username of the player
you are trying to locate, and you will be taken to the table in which that
player is playing. If the player is currently not in the room, you will be
informed of this.
To the top
Q: How do I chat with the other players?
A: To chat with the other players,
simply type what you would like to say in the box in the bottom right-hand
corner of the table window. You will see the text being entered and have the
ability to edit before you commit the text to be read by others at the table.
When you would like to submit the text to be viewed, simply hit the 'Enter' key
and your text will appear in the chat box. You may also chat with players at a
table that you are not sitting at.

that you can use. Select them from the drop-down list directly below the chat

You can choose from the
following settings: Full Detail - description of every game action taken by
each player in each hand as it happens, including the winning hand. Summary detail

Q: Why does the game action sometimes slow down?
A: Our game server and software have
been robustly designed to respond as efficiently as possible to the large
numbers of players in our poker room at any given time. If you are experiencing
a slower response at times (known as 'lag'), this is most likely due one of two
things - either your own connection is slower than normal, or one or more of
the other players' connections is slow, so that they appear to be taking a long
time over their actions.
If you are continually
experiencing a slow response, please contact our support team who will be able
to help you diagnose the problem.

Q: What happens if I get disconnected during a game?
A: It is important to understand how the software deals with disconnects
in the middle of a hand that you are involved in. Your hand is protected as per
an "All In" situation unless you do something to fold your hand.
Please note that to prevent this feature from being abused, there is a limit of
"All Ins" over a 24-hour period that is set by the administrators.
The "All In" counter is reset each day at 12:00am GMT.
Folding of a hand will occur as a result of one of the following:
You leave the card room in the middle of a hand.
You exit the game using the close box (i.e. clicking the X in top right
hand corner of
the screen).
You click the fold button, accidentally OR intentionally.
You are disconnected from the game and re-enter the table before that
hand has completed.
You fail to act on your hand within 20 seconds, e.g. you "Time
Out".
What happens when a hand is restarted?
Occasionally a hand will appear to start, as indicated by the shuffle of
the cards and the prompt for the posting of the blinds, followed by a pause and
the Dealer text indicating that the "Hand Will Start Over". Player
accounts will be unaffected by incomplete hands as only completed hands are
posted to their accounts.
This means that any blinds posted
and bets made in an incomplete hand are not taken from the players true account
balance.

Q: Can I leave the game and come back to it?
A: You can leave the table for a few
hands by clicking the "Sit Out" checkbox. While this is checked you
will not be dealt in to any hand. You are removed from a table if you sit out
for more than fifteen minutes or have missed two rounds of blinds.

Q: Can I view hand histories?
A: A unique number is given to each
hand played and is used to review the events when a player is questioning a
specific hand. Hand histories can be viewed using the PlayCheck
system. This allows you to see all the hands you have played - the full detail
of everything that happened at the table.
To access PlayCheck, click the "Menu" button, then select
"PlayCheck". The PlayCheck
window will open and you can use the search functions to view the hand
histories of the tables and games you have played in.
If you feel that there is a
legitimate error in the hand being questioned, or if you are unable to view the
history of the hand in question, forward all information to
support@dmhgaming.com for review.

A: We use Tain
software.
To the top
A: Absolutely. Tain
software is renowned for its reliability and robustness. The software is
constantly upgraded to further enhance its features and playability. It is
optimized to provide a seamless and reliable poker game experience, no matter
how many players are active at any given time.
To the top
A: The software is totally fair. We
are confident of this that we ensure that the software is regularly reviewed by
independent auditors. This includes a review of the shuffling process to ensure
that it is entirely random and conforms to a normal fair shuffle in a
land-based card room.
To the top
A: Exceptional measures have been
taken to ensure that cards are dealt completely randomly. The shuffling
algorithms along with the random number generator have been designed to create
an unpredictable shuffle. In addition, your down cards are only ever known to
you as the game is being played. The game server 'deals' them to your computer
alone, making it impossible for any other player to know what cards you have as
a hand is played.
